Organizing dance & music events to contribute to Midcoast’s offerings and to create opportunities for fundraising.
Creating joyful and welcoming dance floor spaces where queer folks and allies can feel comfortable showing up as themselves. When you feel safe and supported, it's easier to let go, settle into the groove, and enjoy all the benefits of moving together.

Dance Parties. At rotating locations across Midcoast, we host a few different types of dance parties. For the most part, they are centered around:
Supporting or fundraising for a local queer business, initiative, or organization.
Creating welcoming spaces where queer folks and allies can settle in and dance freely.
Experimenting with ways to make the dance experience more accessible, whether that be neurodivergent-friendly choices or earlier start and end times.

Electric Midcoast. Our Dance Party in the Forest (as it came to be known) is our favorite event. We turn the forest into a dance floor under the stars because it’s one of our favorite places to be. Think glitter meets moss & disco meets woodlands.
